12v AC 60va surface mount, wire-wound, inductive transformer for low voltage lighting applications. Input 230-240vac - Output 12v AC. This transformer is designed for outdoor use and is enclosed in a polycarbonate enclosure and encapsulated in resin to make it waterproof up to IP66. It is suitable for 12v constant voltage LEDs, such as the majority of MR16 lamps and most 12v LED capsule lamps. It can be dimmed with low voltage dimmers designed for inductive loads, provided you have dimmable lamps.
