The Elipta Compact Outdoor Wall Downlight (black) is a 12v MR16 wall or post-mount light fitting for fixed downlighting and grazing and these 12v models operate from a remote transformer. This selection of garden lights take a range of LED lamps to achieve a variety of garden lighting effects. 3 watt lamps are perfect for downlighting from a pergola or grazing down a gate pillar; 5 watts wide beam lamps are often required for downlighting onto a patio from positions higher up on the house wall. A 12v 3w or 5w LED lamp is a low-energy option. This Elipta Compact Wall Downlight has a flush lens which sheds water and dirt and is simple to clean. The light is black powder-coated aluminium, which is a traditional recessive colour choice for garden settings.

Construction:
The downlight body is made from solid metal tube and is mounted on a 75mm diameter enclosed mounting base with back plate, grommeted rear cable entry and connection terminals. Unscrewing the front bezel makes it easy to extract and change the lamp without tools.

Installation:
Screw back plate onto wall, post or Besa box. Seal wall fixing holes with silicon sealant. Wire to transformer with 1.5 mm² or 2.5mm² ground burial 2 core low voltage cable available in 50m or 25m packs.
