The Elipta Nimbus 70 Bollard Light with Louvres (teak) use timber from a sustainable source, organically oiled in production to enhance and protect the grain. The bollards are manufactured from a natural raw material which reacts to temperature changes and will naturally release sap or may sweat inside protective packaging. Once installed, they will weather naturally in the garden, although further oil, stain or varnish treatments can be applied by the user.
Teak bollard lights may be bolted to paving and slabs or to an optional ground-mount which can be installed in concrete prior to electrical installation. An optional galvanised ground spike is obtainable for instalation in planting and lawn areas. The diffuser is made of polycarbonate, and each metal parts is 316 grade stainless steel. For security purposes, the Nimbus features concealed allen screw fixngs for the top cap assembly. Elipta wooden bollard lights are 70cm or 45cm high and available with 7 watts LED Candle lamp for outdoor areas including driveways, at the side of garden paths, decking and terraces. (Order lamps separately).

Installation: |
Pre-wired with 2m rubber cable for connection via T9969 underground joint kit: the installer may shorten the fitted cable to make a weatherproof connection inside the base of the light using a T9966 3 pole IP68 in-line Cable connector. Using a single RCD for large numbers of 240v fittings is not recommended due to the risk of nuisance tripping. We advise the use of separate RCD protection for each circuit and a maximum of 12 fittings per RCD. Where a garden lighting installation of more than 12 spike mount or recessed lights per circuit is proposed, we suggest the installation of 12v units with transformers, which results in a significantly higher fault tolerance and reliability in the total installation |
