The Elipta Compact outdoor wall downlight is a 12v wall or post-mount model for fixed downlighting and grazing. 12v models operate from a remote transformer. These garden downlights take a range of Led lamps to achieve a variety of garden lighting effects. 3 watt lamps are usually ideal for downlighting from a pergola or grazing down a gate pillar; 5 watts wide beam lamps are often needed for downlighting onto a patio from positions higher up on the house wall. A 12v 3w, 5w, 6w or 7w led module is a low-energy option.
It has a flush lens which sheds water and dirt and is easy to clean. It's smart stainless steel construction is a popular choice for modern garden settings.

The downlight body is made from solid metal tube and is mounted on a 75mm diameter enclosed mounting base with back plate, grommeted rear cable entry and connection terminals. Unscrewing the front bezel makes it easy to extract and change the lamp without tools.

Installation:
Screw back plate onto wall, post or Besa box. Seal wall fixing holes with silicon sealant. Wire to transformer with 1.5 mm² or 2.5mm² ground burial 2 core low voltage cable available in 50m or 25m packs.
